Report: Seahawks Sign Stephen Morris After Colin Kaepernick Visit Cancelled
The Seattle Seahawks signed free-agent quarterback Stephen Morris on Friday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Morris' signing came one day after the Seahawks postponed a visit with free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The Seahawks reportedly postponed the meeting when Kaepernick did not offer them an assurance that he wouldn't kneel during the national anthem moving forward, per Schefter.

Until the Morris signing becomes official, Russell Wilson is the only quarterback on Seattle's roster.
The Seahawks released previous backup Trevone Boykin in March amid allegations that he choked his girlfriend.
Morris went undrafted in 2014 out of Miami, and he has spent time with multiple NFL teams since, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins.
Washington signed Morris in January before waiving him Monday, and the 25-year-old has never attempted a regular-season pass.
Morris' lack of playing experience suggests Kaepernick and other quarterback options may still be on the table for Seattle.
