Are We Fans, Or Are We Fanatics?
I have a dog, 6'2" Great Dane "Maximus" i love him, the kids love him, my wife calls him 1 of her kids. How far do we as fans take certain things sometimes that otherwise we would never think of?. For instance this past weekend they had protesters pretesting Michael Vick. I for 1 believe in 2nd chances, pretesting the man for his crimes that he has been punished for. Is this almost a fanatical cause, i mean Oakland has the highest % in murders, yet we protest a person that did harm to dogs. By my understanding i love dogs, but i would never ever put a dog before a human. Why not spend that effort to protest the murders and show that we will not stand for it.
Vick has shown remorse for his crimes, and he is actually a speaker to the youths of America. Helping them understand the wrongs he has done, and the way he lived his life was not right. So in my opinion it's like the saying goes "1 man can make a difference". He could have served his time and been done with it.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
As far as being fans of the game sure boo him for being the opposing player thats all in the game.
I also learned never to get to down on my team when they lose. See i'm a fan of the game and of my team, players will come and go. But you're love for the team should remain the same. I have broken T.V.'s when i was younger and immature when my team lost, as i grew older and wiser by my standards lol, i realized these guys wont buy me a new 1. See they get payed win or lose and no matter what we will watch again next week. In the end it's only a game that they are playing, but they are people so why should we get angry that they make so much and dont always perform. I mean Dr's make a ton of money, but they dont always save there patient. The point is they are trying, and who are we to question there work ethic. I mean do we go to Dr's and say you should have practiced how to do surgery better and maybe our loved 1 could have been saved? no we dont. I know comparing football to surgery doesnt justify the meaning, but i think you get the point.
We are fans that is it, they are there to entertain us. If you're child has ever seen you angry or upset cause of our beloved Raiders losing a game, well then my friends what are we teaching our kids?
Lets focus on the important things in our lifes, cause i know i'm not perfect. Lets cheer our players when they do great, but lets also be there support when they need a pick me up. Jmac said it hurt to hear everyone booing him, he is still a kid 24 years of age. We do not boo our kids or any other kids we support them to help them through there rough patch.
I think if we all get our priorities in sink, we will be better as people and as fans. That includes myself. My opinion thats all.
