FIFA 18 Ultimate Team: Paul Pogba, Paulo Dybala Headline TOTW 30
FIFA 18's Team of the Week 30 is packed with Premier League talent, with Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen receiving 91 and 92-rated in-form cards, respectively, while Paulo Dybala flies the flag for Serie A with a 93 rating.
Pogba grabbed a brace as he led United's comeback in their 3-2 win over Manchester City, while Eriksen also scored twice in Spurs' 2-1 win over Stoke City.
Danny Welbeck's brace and assist as Arsenal beat Southampton 3-2 earned him a place, and West Ham United's Joe Hart has been rewarded for his display against Chelsea on Sunday in their 1-1 draw.
Unsurprisingly, Dybala's hat-trick against Benevento proved enough for him to receive an upgrade, while Will Grigg's own trio of strikes sees him pick up an 84-rated card.
Here is the team, per EA Sports:
Paul Pogba, Manchester United
With United 2-0 down against City, the Sky Blues looked set to romp to the title in style at home to their bitter rivals, but it took Pogba—who had endured an uninspiring first half—less than two minutes to completely turn the match on its head.
A smart run and finish past Ederson halved the deficit, and just 97 seconds later, he glanced home Alexis Sanchez's cross to pull United level before Chris Smalling proved an unlikely source for the winner.
ESPN's Alex Shaw and football writer Liam Canning hailed the Frenchman's importance to the Red Devils:
Pogba is already a superb all-rounder in central midfield, but his third IF of the season has brought his pace up to 80 to ensure the only attribute below that mark is his defending, which is still a respectable 72.
Meanwhile, his passing and dribbling are an elite 92, with his physical stat close behind on 91.
Paulo Dybala, Juventus
After being sent off against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, Dybala found some redemption with his hat-trick on Saturday.
After netting a fine curling effort from the right, he confidently dispatched two penalties to reach 25 goals in all competitions, making this the most prolific campaign of his career.
As Squawka Football demonstrated, this is far from the first time he has hit three in one match this season:
His new card sees his position change to that of a support striker, while his pace and passing—both 89-rated on his last IF—are now 90 and 91-rated, respectively.
The icing on the cake is his dribbling, which now stands at an astonishing 95.
Will Grigg, Wigan Athletic
Grigg was on fire on Saturday as he helped Wigan beat MK Dons 5-1 at the DW Stadium.
League One's official Twitter account shared Grigg's highlights as he fired Wigan to victory:
The 26-year-old now boasts an overall rating many Premier League strikers would be proud of at 84, with his pace an electric 89, while his shooting and physical stats are 84.
His 67-rated passing could make it difficult for him to contribute to team moves and chemistry could also be an issue, but the Northern Irish speedster can still be a useful acquisition to many players.
