Master P recently appeared on The Red Pill With Van Lathan podcast and said he and Kobe Bryant were nearly involved in an altercation years ago at the Los Angeles Lakers' facility.

"I almost got into it with Kobe before," he said, according to TMZ Sports. "At the Lakers facility. Lamar Odom kind of cooled it off."

However, the No Limit Records founder didn't offer many details beyond that, merely saying the two "had a couple words."

"You know how Kobe is," he added. "The Lakers is his facility. So, it was just one of those things. That's his place, which it was."

Needless to say, P's account left a lot to be desired.
