The Oklahoma City Thunder clinched a playoff spot with Monday night's 115-93 win over the Miami Heat, and Russell Westbrook helped the team clinch in style.
Westbrook finished with 23 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists to post his league-leading 25th triple-double.
The Thunder have one more game remaining in the regular season. ESPN Stats & Info noted Westbrook will average a triple-double for the second year in a row if he collects 16 rebounds Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Westbrook has registered at least 16 boards on six occasions in 2017-18 after Monday night, and the Grizzlies are averaging the second-fewest rebounds (40.6 per game) in the NBA.
The odds of Westbrook averaging a triple-double again are slim, but it's at least on the table in Oklahoma City's regular-season finale.
