Braun Strowman shocked the world when he picked a young fan out of the crowd to be his tag team partner against The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday.

Many wondered if a current star or returning legend would be Strowman's tag partner. Instead, he seemingly picked someone at random in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The young man identified himself as Nicholas:

Naturally, social media was abuzz at the sight of Strowman's choice:

Luckily for the youngster, Strowman did the heavy lifting in the ring. Nicholas tagged in briefly before quickly tagging out. The Monster Among Men hit a running powerslam on Cesaro to earn the victory.

Technically, Strowman and Nicholas are the Raw tag team champions, and fans will have to tune in to Raw on Monday night to see whether the young newcomer's reign will continue beyond WrestleMania.
