Fundraiser for Families of the Humboldt Junior Hockey Team Raises $4M

A GoFundMe for the families of the Humboldt Broncos, who had 15 players and team personnel die from a bus crash in Saskatchewan on Friday, has reached more than $4 million.

"There are no words that could express the incredible support the hockey community has seen here," Sylvie Kellington wrote. "Almost 60,000 people from almost 60 countries around the world have heard our story and were moved to help. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and prayers, your donations, and for sharing this GoFundMe far and wide."

The GoFundMe is currently sitting at $4.3 million as of publication. Donations have come pouring in, with more than 63,000 people giving funds.
