Patrick Reed Celebrates with Wife Justine After Winning 2018 Masters
Patrick Reed celebrated a major championship with his wife, Justine, for the first time ever Sunday.
Reed prevailed at the 2018 Masters Tournament with a one-under 71 in the final round to win the first major of his career. The performance brought his tournament total to 15-under and helped him stave off late charges by Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler.
The American was nursing a three-stroke lead over playing partner Rory McIlroy entering play Sunday, but Spieth came back from nine strokes behind to tie things before Reed retook the lead for good with a birdie on No. 14.
Fowler put the pressure on with a birdie on No. 18, and that forced Reed to notch a par on his final hole to preserve his spot atop the leaderboard and win the green jacket.
While Reed sank a par putt to win, he likely could have used some advice from Justine when reading the green considering she used to be his caddy.
