With a quick turnaround time between Friday night's 14-inning loss to the Baltimore Orioles and Saturday's 8-3 victory, New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone didn't even bother leaving Yankee Stadium.

According to The Athletic's Lindsey Adler, Boone said after Saturday's game he slept at the park.

The Yankees and Orioles didn't wrap things up until well after midnight, leaving just over 12 hours before Saturday's first pitch at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Boone will have expected his players and coaches to get to the stadium a few hours early for pregame preparations. Throw in the hassle of New York City traffic, and the manager wouldn't have had much time for sleep if he had traveled home.

Nine games into his MLB managerial career, the 45-year-old appears to be getting the hang of his new role.
