'UFC 223 Embedded' Video Shows New Angles of Conor McGregor Bus Attack
UFC released behind-the-scenes footage of Conor McGregor's bus attack at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday that showed the scene inside and outside of the vehicle when the Irishman and his entourage started to hurl a slew of large metal objects toward the windows.
Around the 30-second mark, you can see McGregor pick up a dolly and shatter the window of the bus. Immediately after, the cameras pan to lightweight contender Michael Chiesa, who has a bloody gash running down his forehead (warning: video contains profanity):
Later, UFC President Dana White is seen meeting with the fighters who were on the bus.
"He's going to jail," White told them. "They're all being arrested. I brought another bus to take you guys back so you can go f--king chill in your hotel room."
White added that credentialed members of The Mac Life team are the ones who allowed Conor and Co. to storm the bowels of the arena.
McGregor was arrested Thursday night and arraigned Friday at a Brooklyn courthouse.
He posted $50,000 bail after he was formally charged with three misdemeanor counts of assault and one felony count of criminal mischief. He will be allowed to return to Ireland before coming back to the United States for another hearing on June 14.
UFC announced Friday that UFC 223 on Saturday will proceed as scheduled with 10 bouts after fights between Chiesa and Anthony Pettis, Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno and Artem Lobov and Alex Caceres were nixed.
