Ben Simmons Shows Off Handles, Throws Down Dunk in 1st Half vs. Cavaliers
Scott PolacekApr 6, 2018
Star players make star plays in big games, and that is exactly what Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons did in the first half of Friday's showdown against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
He unleashed a head-turning between-the-legs dribble before finding sharpshooter JJ Redick for a three-pointer and also blew past multiple Cavaliers defenders—including James—off the dribble for an emphatic dunk.
Simmons' 76ers were a mere 0.5 games behind the Cavaliers in the race for the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, and he led his team to a commanding 78-55 halftime advantage with his highlight-reel plays.
