Juventus Transfer News: Juan Bernat Eyed Amid Alex Sandro Exit Rumours
Juventus will reportedly use the funds of Alex Sandro's transfer this summer to finance a move for Bayern Munich defender Juan Bernat.
According to Tuttosport (via Football Italia), the Bianconeri will seek €60 million from Paris Saint-Germain or a Premier League club for Sandro, who has been mentioned as a possible departure in the summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Tom Coast of Sport Witness) highlighted Manchester United as possible suitors, while Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the past.

In Sandro's place, Juventus would want to add Bernat, a player with many similar characteristics. Leonardo Spinazzola will also return after a successful loan spell with Atalanta, giving the Old Lady a solid one-two punch at the left-back position.
The Brazilian, 27, is widely regarded as one of the best attacking left-backs in the world and has even played as a winger for Juventus at times this season. His 2017-18 campaign has not been as good as recent years, which explains why the Italians might be willing to cash in.
Bernat also hasn't enjoyed a great season but for different reasons. The Spain international has made just seven Bundesliga starts so far but missed a huge chunk of the year due to injury.

Per WhoScored.com, he hasn't been a regular starter since the 2014-15 campaign, but the former Valencia man appears to be rounding into form again.
Like Sandro, Bernat mostly stands out for his attacking abilities. The 25-year-old has scored some wonderful goals over the years, including this beauty:
His playing style would complement that of Spinazzola nicely. The Italy international is a right-footed left-back who doesn't really stand out in any particular area but limits mistakes and covers a lot of space.
It's no secret Juventus and Bayern enjoy doing business, and plenty of players have swapped sides over the last few years. The likes of Douglas Costa, Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman have all found success with their new clubs, so it would not be a surprise if the two continued their good relationship.
Bernat would be a lot cheaper than the €60 million it will take to land Sandro, especially given his injury history. He could be another tremendous value signing for the Bianconeri, even if he's not as talented as the man he would be replacing.
With Spinazzola as insurance, Bernat's struggles with injury this season shouldn't scare off the Bianconeri, who know they will have an able replacement.
