
Johnny Manziel Reportedly to Play 1st and 3rd Quarters in Spring League Debut
Johnny Manziel will reportedly play two quarters in his return to competitive football Saturday.
Per ESPN's Kevin Seifert, Manziel will play in the first and third quarters for the South team in the Spring League.
Seifert noted Manziel's two quarters will amount to roughly 30 snaps as his quest to return to the NFL continues.

This is the second season for the Spring League, which features four games and two contests per team. The games will be played April 7 and 12 at Kelly Reeves Stadium in Austin, Texas.
During practices this week, Manziel showcased some of the talent that helped him win a Heisman Trophy with Texas A&M in 2012:
Saturday will mark Manziel's first competitive game since December 27, 2015, with the Cleveland Browns. He started eight contests over two seasons with the Browns before he was released in March 2016.
