SEC Power Rankings: Week Eight

This was done in a rush, so not as many links this week, sorry. Letโ€™s get to it.

Previous rankings in parentheses.

1. Florida (1): I found some documentation on one of Tim Tebow's ancestors.

2. Alabama (2): I must respectfully disagree with the AP voters, for this reason alone: Florida has this guy , Alabama does not. Donโ€™t let that smile fool you. Thatโ€™s what he does before he kills you.

3. LSU (3): Your LSU fan of the week .

4. South Carolina (4): You canโ€™t sneak anything past Steve Spurrier. His offensive line, well, thatโ€™s another story.

5. Arkansas (5): I am still not sold on Ryan Mallett. Some people are less realistic .

6. Georgia (7): Bulldogs are off this week, but Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™ll still find a way to disappoint.

7. Ole Miss (8): The offense is back! Jevan Snead is back! Oh, wait, that was UAB, wasnโ€™t it? Never mind.

8. Tennessee (9): Lane Kiffin's up to his old tricks . Well, I donโ€™t think heโ€™s old enough to have any โ€œoldโ€ tricks just yet.

9. Auburn (6): I know, the Tigers lost to Kentucky. Iโ€™ve got to consider it an aberration, but that dynamite offense suddenly looks more like a pack of Black Cats.

10. Mississippi State (10): Hereโ€™s to good memories .

11. Kentucky (12): Well on its way to another .500 season and crappy bowl game.

12. Vanderbilt (11): What a pathetic offense .
