2018 Masters Betting Props: Tiger Woods in Spotlight on Augusta Odds for Week

OddsShark.comApr 4, 2018

All eyes will be on Tiger Woods when the first round of the Masters tees off Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club. The return of Woods to Augusta is the biggest storyline heading into the first major PGA tournament of the year, and there are several ways you can bet on his performance on the 2018 Masters betting props at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.

For example, you can wager on the possibility that Woods records an eagle during the Masters at +125 (bet $100 to win $125) or get even better odds of +400 for the opening round alone.

You can also take a shot on Woods at +2000 to play a bogey-free round on Thursday, and you can get that same number on Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson, who are all among the favorites on the odds to win the Masters as well.

Do you think there will be a hole-in-one by any golfer during the Masters? Then you can lay a price of -150 (bet $150 to win $100) or take back +115 if you disagree with that possibility.

Will any golfer shoot in the 60s for all four rounds of the Masters? If so, that is worth +1100 according to oddsmakers. What about the lowest tournament round? Exactly 65 is listed as a slight +165 favorite versus 66 and over (+175) or 64 and under (+185). Charley Hoffman shot an opening-round 65 in last year's tournament.

In addition, there are several props available on different sub-groups for the Masters, including nationalities. The overwhelming favorite among Japanese golfers is Hideki Matsuyama at -350. Matsuyama's best career finish at Augusta is fifth in 2015, but keep in mind, he just needs to perform better than Yusaku Miyazto (+650), Yuta Ikeda (+650) and Satoshi Kodaira (+700) in order for you to win that prop bet.

Fred Couples remains one of the most popular golfers on the PGA Tour, and the 1992 Masters champion is the favorite among seniors at +180 over Vijay Singh (+225) and Bernhard Langer (+225). On the opposite end of the spectrum, 24-year-old Xander Schauffele is the favorite among debutantes at +330.
