Free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick praised former teammate Eric Reid, tweeting Tuesday the 2013 Pro Bowl safety "continues to fight against systemic oppression."
Kaepernick shared a video of Reid's workout in hopes of helping the five-year veteran find a new home this offseason:

Reid remains unsigned after his rookie deal expired, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Reid knelt alongside Kaepernick during the national anthem when they were teammates on the 49ers, and he continued after Kaepernick opted out of his contract ahead of the 2017 season. Many wondered how Reid's social activism would impact his market in free agency.
Reid told reporters last month doesn't plan to protest during the national anthem ahead of NFL games in 2018.
