The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The New Day and The Usos in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in New Orleans.

Harper delivered a powerbomb to Kofi Kingston from the middle rope after Rowan had previously powerbombed Kingston. That allowed The Bludgeon Brothers to become tag team champions:

The SmackDown Live tag team division has been on fire in recent months, and it resulted in what was one of the most highly anticipated matches on the WrestleMania 34 card.

The Usos have been on what is unquestionably the best run of their career, and The New Day had plenty to do with that.

Over the course of several months, The Usos and New Day did battle in a multitude of fantastic matches both on pay-per-view and SmackDown. They traded the tag titles on numerous occasions and stole the show essentially every time they faced each other.

They had another opportunity to do precisely that at Fastlane in March, but their bout was interrupted by The Bludgeon Brothers, who proceeded to destroy both teams.

Harper and Rowan left Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Big E, Kingston and Xavier Woods in a heap after using tables, steel steps and other objects to decimate them.

Since reuniting as a team, The Bludgeon Brothers have left a path of destruction in their wake, and they entered WrestleMania having beaten every challenge placed in front of them.

While there is little doubt that The Usos and New Day have been two of the best tag teams in all of wrestling over the past year, The Bludgeon Brothers earned their shot by making a significant impact in a short amount of time.

In addition to The Usos and New Day having great chemistry with each other, Harper and Rowan showed in the past that they could work great matches with those teams as well.

During their time in The Wyatt Family, Harper and Rowan had a strong run of matches with both The Usos and New Day, and their in-ring quality is often forgotten because of their physicality and ability to grind down the opposition with elite-level brawling and brutality.

The Bludgeon Brothers brought a different dynamic into Sunday's match in much the same way that The Dudley Boyz did when they became part of the rivalry between Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz.

It is unlikely that any tag team feud or match will ever reach that level, but The Usos, New Day and Bludgeon Brothers put on a memorable contest on The Grandest Stage of Them All that did justice to what has consistently been one of the best parts of SmackDown over the past year.

Harper and Rowan have come agonizingly close to the tag titles on several occasions over the years, but they finally managed to reach the top of the mountain with Sunday's win.

Putting The Bludgeon Brothers in the driver's seat opens up a world of possibilities since there is no shortage of entertainment value in The Usos and New Day chasing the titles when they are around the waists of a dominant and seemingly unbeatable team.

WWE has a special heel tandem on its hands in Harper and Rowan, and the SmackDown live tag team division is in good hands with them at the helm.
