Conor McGregor Takes NSFW Shot at UFC Fighters Pulling out of Fights on Twitter

Conor McGregor had a colorful way of mocking UFC fighters who withdraw from fights (warning: contains NSFW language):

The MMA star was likely discussing the recent lightweight championship at UFC 223, which was supposed to be headlined by Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Unfortunately, Ferguson was forced to withdraw just six days before the fight after suffering a torn knee ligament, per Brett Okamoto of ESPN. 

UFC President Dana White announced Max Holloway would replace Ferguson for the April 7 bout:

The winner of Holloway and Nurmagomedov will be named the undisputed lightweight champion, taking the title away from McGregor, who hasn't competed in UFC since Nov. 2016. He last fought in a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather last summer.

Ferguson and Nurmagomedov have been forced to reschedule their bout several times due to injuries, while UFC 222 also saw Holloway pull out of a potential matchup with Frankie Edgar. Late withdrawals at pay-per-views have been a problem for many years in UFC, although McGregor's mockery isn't likely to change it.
