Kobe Bryant and his family were in attendance for a thrilling Women's Final Four showdown between the No. 1 UConn Huskies and No. 1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday night.

WSBT's Adam Derengowski relayed footage of Bryant's family arriving for the festivities:

The Huskies' Twitter account, meanwhile, took time to highlight the Black Mamba's fashion choices:

Bryant, clad in UConn colors, also shared a moment with ESPN reporter Holly Rowe:

Unfortunately for Bryant, the Huskies lost in the national semifinal for the second straight season as the Fighting Irish pulled out a 91-89 overtime win after Arike Ogunbowale hit a game-winning jumper with a second to go in the extra session.

"I know I just had to shoot it at the last minute," Ogunbowale told Rowe after the win (h/t SB Nation's Kristian Winfield). "I mean, I didn't want to give them a chance to get the ball. I went into Mamba Mentality. Kobe's here, so that's what I had to channel."
