Highlights of Markelle Fultz's Thrilling Return to 76ers After 68-Game Absence
Markelle Fultz made his highly anticipated return to the court Monday and showcased some of the talent that led him to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft.
The guard checked in with 2:54 left in the first quarter to a huge ovation and didn't disappoint from there. He played 14 minutes, finishing with 10 points, eight assists, four rebounds and just one turnover.
He finished plus-16 on the court in the Philadelphia 76ers' 123-104 win over the Denver Nuggets at Wells Fargo Center.
Although he didn't attempt a three-pointer and mostly attacked the basket, his jump shot was still on display after plenty of scrutiny.
Fultz played just four games at the start of the season before a shoulder injury led to a 68-game absence. If he is even close to 100 percent, however, he could be a key addition to the 76ers in the postseason.
