Manchester United Transfer News: Stefan De Vrij Blow Amid Latest Rumours
Stefan De Vrij is reportedly set to reject top Premier League clubs Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, as well as La Liga giants Barcelona, to sign for Inter Milan from Lazio this summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MailOnline's Alex Martin), De Vrij has "verbally committed" to joining Inter when his Lazio contract expires at the end of the season and will pen a five-year contract at the San Siro worth £70,000 per week.
That is despite interest from United, Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Barca, all five of whom could have offered him a pre-contract agreement as they are not Serie A clubs, and he is in the final six months of his current deal, according to the report.

The 26-year-old has played a key role for Lazio this season as they have garnered 54 points from 29 matches to sit fifth in Serie A, one point back from fourth-placed Inter, who have a game in hand.
The Dutchman has played in 27 of the Biancocelesti's top-flight games in 2017-18 and will continue to be crucial as they look to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
Per La Gazzetta (via Martin), he has already confirmed he will not extend his contract at Lazio, but it does look as though he will remain in Serie A.

That is a blow for his reported suitors as De Vrij is a hugely experienced and accomplished central defender who is now entering the peak years of his career.
It is not often such a player becomes available for free.
Having made his senior debut for Feyenoord as a teenager in 2009, De Vrij has been playing first-team football at a high level for the best part of a decade.
The Netherlands international joined Lazio in July 2014, and bar a long-term injury in his second season at the club, he has been a regular starter ever since.
De Vrij could have been a key addition to United's squad as their current centre-backs are talented but unreliable.
However, it seems Inter have won the race to snap him up in the summer.
