John Stockton's Son David Reportedly Signs 2nd 10-Day Contract with Jazz

David Stockton, the son of Utah Jazz legend John Stockton, is reportedly set to sign a second 10-day contract with the Jazz.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports first reported the deal Monday morning.

Stockton signed his first 10-day contract with the organization March 17. He made his first appearance Sunday against the Golden State Warriors, scoring two points in three minutes of action.

The 26-year-old Gonzaga product talked about the opportunity to play in the same city where his father rose to superstardom across two decades starting in 1984.

"For me to finally get an opportunity, this is great," Stockton told Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune. "This is home. This is the place that I've spent most of my life. So, for me to have a chance to play here, this is a dream come true."

Utah's next game comes Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The game will be nationally broadcast on ESPN at 9:30 p.m. ET.
