MMA Fighter Lights Up Opponent with Relentless Flurry Before Landing KO Blow
The "Afro Monkey" Andre Ewell made an impression with a knockout in 101 seconds during Legacy Fighting Alliance 36 at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California, on Friday evening.

Ewell was matched up with Trent Meaux on the main card and began his fight-ending flurry with a left-right combination. Then he landed a left high kick that hurt his opponent.
Once Ewell had Meaux backing up, it was all but over.
Ewell styled all over Meaux with shots until a lunging right uppercut landed cleanly. Meaux hit the mat in a heap, and Ewell saw no need for any further punishment. The referee stepped in, and Meaux stayed flat on his back.
The win made it a three-fight win streak for Ewell and gave him a notable performance for scouts to see. LFA is known as one of the best feeder leagues on the MMA circuit, and Ewell's first-round knockout Friday will go a long way to helping him reach the next level.
