PSG Reportedly Eyeing Jurgen Klopp, Antonio Conte to Replace Unai Emery
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has emerged as a potential managerial target for Paris Saint-Germain as they plan to replace Unai Emery at the end of the 2017-18 season.
According to French newspaper Le Parisien (via Goal), Emery will be sacked in the summer after PSG again failed to make a genuine tilt at the UEFA Champions League, and Klopp joins Chelsea boss Antonio Conte on the shortlist to replace the Spaniard.
The report also revealed that former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique and three-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti are also under consideration, with neither attached to a club.

Emery's PSG are 17 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 and are all but guaranteed to regain their French top-flight crown.

However, for the second year running they were knocked out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage as they were convincingly downed 5-2 on aggregate by Real Madrid.
It is clear that domestic dominance is not enough for the PSG hierarchy as they are desperate to make a splash on the European stage, or at least compete in the semi-finals and final.
In that respect Enrique and Ancelotti could well be the front-runners for the PSG job given they have both led teams to Champions League glory.
Conte's relatively poor record in Europe's premier club competition could count against him after Chelsea were also dumped out in the last 16 by Barcelona earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Klopp has the pedigree of having led his current Liverpool side to the quarter-finals of the 2017-18 competition in style, per BT Sport:
He also took Borussia Dortmund to the final of the Champions League back in 2013.
However, PSG going after Klopp is likely something of a long shot.
He is contracted to the Reds until 2022 and has engendered fierce loyalty from both Liverpool's players and fans.
PSG are financially powerful enough to offer Klopp a tempting contract, and they could also afford to generously compensate Liverpool.
But, of the four managers reportedly on PSG's radar, Klopp seems the least likely to move to the Parc des Princes in the summer.
