B/R's Chris Simms: Giants Can Make Super Bowl Run with Saquon Barkley
Although the New York Giants finished last season with the NFL's second-worst record at 3-13, it's important to remember that they are just two years removed from a playoff appearance.
That's why Bleacher Report's Chris Simms believes the G-Men could be Super Bowl contenders in 2018...with the right pick on draft day.
New York acquired All-Pro linebacker Alec Ogletree from the Los Angeles Rams last week. Now, Simms thinks the team may be just one piece away from being hoisting the Lombardi Trophy once again.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Simms shared his thoughts on the Simms & Lefkoe Podcast (17:30 mark):
"If I'm the Giants, I want to take Saquon Barkley and just go, 'Let's go try to win a Super Bowl this year. Let's go.' ... Their team is a lot more talented than their final roster showed. Shurmur is certainly going to make the offense better. You'll have a healthy Odell. I like James Bettcher at defensive coordinator. Don't be shocked if the Giants are back in this convo."
Don't forget, this is a roster that includes Ogletree, Odell Beckham Jr., Jason Pierre-Paul and two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning. Injuries derailed any hope the Giants had last season, and with Barkley, perhaps a healthy squad could make a run at dethroning the Philadelphia Eagles.
