Mikal Bridges' Dominant Performance Drives Villanova Past Alabama
Rob GoldbergMar 17, 2018
Villanova has a lot of players who can carry the offense on a given night. But in the second half against Alabama Saturday, it was all Mikal Bridges.
While the junior only scored one point in the first half, Bridges exploded for 22 points in the second half, making five three-pointers in the process.
He was especially impressive just after halftime, scoring 16 points in the first four-and-a-half minutes. The red-hot shooting helped Villanova turn a tight 32-27 halftime lead into a comfortable 50-28 advantage.
