MMA Fighter Flattens Foe with 1-Shot KO Before 1st Round Ends

Adrian Yanez picked up his sixth win in seven fights with a show-stealing KO at the end of the first round at LFA 35 in Houston.

Yanez was battling with Nathan Trepagnier at the Arena Theatre on the main card. As the round came to a close, Trepagnier charged forward and Yanez countered with a right hand. The blow left Trepagnier on the mat and Yanez knew there was no need for a follow-up shot.

The KO narrowly beat the first-round bell. The official end came at 4:56 of the first round.

The 24-year-old bantamweight picked up the win in front of his home crowd and made a statement for all of the MMA community to see.
