
Chris Baker Reportedly Signs 1-Year Contract with Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals reportedly have added depth to their front seven by signing veteran defensive lineman Chris Baker to a one-year deal on Wednesday.
Chick Hernandez of NBC Sports Washington reported the two sides were finalizing details. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the one-year deal is worth $3 million.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released the nine-year veteran in February.

After spending the previous six years with the Washington Redskins, the 6'2", 320-pound defensive end recorded 33 tackles with 0.5 sacks in his first and only season in Tampa Bay. He racked up 97 tackles and 11.5 sacks during his time in the nation's capital.
If there's one thing Marvin Lewis and the Bengals love, it's depth on the D-line. With Geno Atkins, Carlos Dunlap, Michael Johnson, Andrew Billings and Carl Lawson, they have the ability to give opposing offensive lines headaches. Adding Baker gives the team just another option to throw into the mix.
