Manchester United Transfer News: Mino Raiola Dismisses Paul Pogba Exit Rumours
The agent for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola, has dismissed suggestions there is any rift between the player and his manager, Jose Mourinho.
After Pogba was left on the bench for recent matches with Huddersfield Town and Sevilla, there have been rumours the duo have fallen out and Pogba may potentially be moving on at the end of the season.
However, in an interview with Rai Sport (h/t Chris Burton of Goal), the agent said player and boss remain on the same page and Pogba is focused on the Red Devils.

"I don't take anyone anywhere, I'm not a taxi or a plane," he said of supposed meetings with Real Madrid with a view to a possible move. "Of course, if things weren't going well then I'd be ready to do my job, which is to find other solutions for the club and the player. There's no war with Mourinho though, Paul wants to win with United."

Pogba started the most recent United fixture, as they came from behind to win 2-1 against Chelsea in Premier League and assert themselves in second place in the table.
Still, Mourinho is still said to be demanding more from Pogba; Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News said the manager wants more aggression from the Frenchman:
The conversation among Red Devils supporters this season surrounding the France midfielder is where to deploy him in order to get the best from him.
Pogba has regularly struggled in a midfield duo, as he receives the ball in areas he can't influence the game in an attacking sense, nor does he boast the defensive focus needed to help protect his back four from that position.
Traditionally he's shown his best as the most advanced man in a midfield three, and as noted by James Gheerbrant of The Times, he impressed when he was used there against Chelsea:
Still, it's clear all has not been completely well with Pogba and Mourinho based on the way the manager has used him in recent weeks.
Leaving the club's record signing on the bench against Huddersfield at Old Trafford perhaps wasn't a surprise at this point in the season, but to see Pogba pulled from the game against Newcastle United when the Red Devils chased an equaliser was a surprise, while his omission from the XI against Sevilla in the Champions League round-of-16 first leg was a big shock.

Grup 14's Rafael Hernandez believes the manager should be doing more to get the best out of the France international:
While there's no denying that's the case, Pogba also needs to show more when he's on the field to warrant having one of the world's biggest football teams built around him. And perhaps Mourinho is seeking a response after taking him out of the side recently.
Against Chelsea, it felt as though both manager and player made steps forward in terms of the tactical plan and the subsequent performance from the midfielder. And provided there is no war between the duo, that's something Mourinho and Pogba can continue to work on throughout the course of the season.
