James Harden Licked His Lips After Dropping Wesley Johnson, Hitting 3

Houston Rockets star James Harden went viral during Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center when he downed Clippers forward Wesley Johnson with some fancy dribbling, stared at his fallen opponent for seconds and then drained an open three-pointer. 

That moment continues to get better upon further investigation. 

Per a zoom-in shared by Dime on Uproxx that first ran on ESPN's The Jump, Harden literally licked his lips while looking at Johnson before pulling up from beyond the arc. 

Perhaps his lips were merely dry, or maybe he salivated upon realizing he had so much time to prep his shot. 

Either way, Harden's antics will be hard to top in the race for the season's best highlight.
