North Carolina Tar Heels senior Joel Berry II probably thought he sent Tuesday's game against the Miami Hurricanes at Dean Smith Center to overtime when he drained a game-tying three-pointer with under five seconds remaining.
Miami's Ja'Quan Newton had other plans.
After Berry tied the contest at 88-88, Newton quickly darted past the midcourt line and fired a running trey well beyond the three-point arc before time expired.
He buried the shot, handing the Hurricanes an upset road win over No. 9 North Carolina.
That's the type of walk-off young players practice on playgrounds all over the country on a daily basis.
