Harlem Globetrotters Perform Trick Shots at Lincoln Financial Field
The Philadelphia Eagles mastered a trick play to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history Feb. 4. Julian "Zeus" McClurkin and Bria "Swish" Young of the Harlem Globetrotters recently dialed up their own unorthodox plays at Lincoln Financial Field.
Needing a score on 4th-and-goal, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and quarterback Nick Foles called the "Philly Special" to set up a Foles touchdown catch. The Globetrotters' special plays had far lower stakes but with a much higher difficulty level.
McClurkin and Young made buckets from the upper deck, and McClurkin even drained one from the highest row. Former Eagles wide receiver Harold Carmichael then presented both of them with personalized jerseys.
