Peyton Manning Drives Pace Car Ahead of Daytona 500

The Sheriff engineered a different type of drive Sunday afternoon.

Ahead of the 2018 Daytona 500, former NFL quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning drove the pace car around NASCAR's most famous track.

Apparently, the 41-year-old didn't fully understand the nature of the gig before he got behind the wheel:

Manning wasn't the only signal-caller at Daytona, as Green Bay Packers starter Aaron Rodgers attended the event to support girlfriend Danica Patrick during the final race of her NASCAR career:
