Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant came to play at Moda Center on Wednesday.

Durant won the personal battle, but Lillard's team secured the victory.

The 2017 NBA Finals MVP tallied 50 points, but Lillard dropped 44 on the defending NBA champs en route to helping the hosts earn a hard-fought 123-117 win heading into the All-Star break.

Dame shot 14-of-25 from the field, including 4-of-11 from beyond the three-point arc, and he was a perfect 12-of-12 from the free-throw line. He added eight assists and three rebounds to his line.

Durant drained six of 14 three-point attempts, and he accumulated seven boards and six helpers in the loss.
