Broncos' Von Miller Bonds with Free Agent Kirk Cousins over Cereal on Instagram

Any NFL team needing a quarterback will go to great lengths to recruit Kirk Cousins this offseason. Von Miller may have already started wooing the free agent on social media.

Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show two weeks ago, the Denver Broncos star insisted he would not recruit the passer. He also said "We need Kirk" whom he declared "could take us over the edge."

Last Saturday, Miller connected with Cousins over a common taste in cereal. As documented above by a Twitter user, the former replied to the latter's Instagram post about Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats and Cracklin' OatBran. 

Hey, maybe Miller is just passionate about cereal. He also may have laid on the charm—no word on their thoughts regarding Lucky Charms—to land in Cousins' good graces.

When one fan trolled his tactics, the edge-rusher leaned into the joke:

It's safe to say a similar palate won't sway Cousins' decision, but he may instead be drawn to a Miller-led defense that ranked third in yards allowed last season. Signing the former Washington signal-caller could vault the Broncos back into title contention.
