Boxer Adrien Broner was arrested at the Lenox Square shopping center in Atlanta on Monday on a misdemeanor sexual battery charge.
According to TMZ Sports, Broner was taken into custody after a woman told police he "inappropriately groped her." The boxer has denied the allegation.
The 28-year-old Broner was being held in Fulton County Jail and was scheduled to face a judge Tuesday morning, per TMZ Sports.
In 2016, Broner was cited for misdemeanor battery after allegedly choking a nightclub waitress in Las Vegas.
He was arrested last year after it was found that he failed to appear in court for disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication charges in 2014.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native owns a career professional boxing record of 33-3 with one no-contest. He is a former junior lightweight, lightweight, welterweight and light welterweight champion.
Broner's last fight was a unanimous-decision loss to Mikey Garcia in July 2017, and he is currently scheduled to return to the ring against Omar Figueroa Jr. on April 21.
