By most measures, UFC 221 in Perth, Australia, was a pretty straightforward UFC card. What really stood out, however, were the victory celebrations.
For whatever reason, the fighters from down under went above and beyond when it came to post-fight partying, and while there were a few memorable examples (including Israel Adesanya motioning that he was, ahem, "marking the Octagon as his territory"), nobody topped Tai Tuivasa on Saturday night.
After scoring an impressive TKO victory over Cyril Asker in his sophomore excursion in the Octagon, Tuivasa commemorated the occasion by stepping out of the cage, going over to the crowd and chugging beer from a fan's shoe.
MMA Junkie's Ben Fowlkes captured the moment and immortalized it on Twitter.
Gross? You bet. But given how his record now stands at 7-0 with each win coming via first-round knockout, it's hard to question it.
