Joel Embiid Swats, Celebrates Block on Pelicans Forward Nikola Mirotic

Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid suited up with an ankle ailment for Friday's game at the Wells Fargo Center, but he still rose for a highlight block on New Orleans Pelicans forward Nikola Mirotic.

With seconds to go before halftime, Mirotic approached the basket, but the Sixers' 7-footer rejected him in the paint and then did a little shimmy shake over him before pointing to the locker room.

Philadelphia took a 56-41 lead into the break.
