4-Star LB Recruit Quay Walker Fakes Out Tennessee, Picks Georgia
Moe MotonFeb 7, 2018
National signing day usually involves some showmanship. Quay Walker added some theatrics to his moment of intent Wednesday, involving three SEC schools.
The 4-star linebacker, according to 247Sports, put on a Tennessee ball cap, flung it to the side and revealed Georgia gear under his outerwear to show his commitment to the Bulldogs.
Walker was previously an Alabama Crimson Tide commit, but it's common for top recruits to flip schools on signing day.
The 6'4" Georgia native will join a program coming off a run to the national championship game under defensive-minded head coach Kirby Smart.
