Greg Schiano Will Stay at Ohio State After Rumors He'd Join Patriots Staff
Despite rumors he would be joining Bill Belichick's coaching staff for the New England Patriots, Greg Schiano will remain the defensive coordinator at Ohio State in 2018.
Per Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman, Schiano said on Wednesday he was staying with the Buckeyes after Zach Barnett of FootballScoop had reported Schiano would be named New England's defensive coordinator.
The Patriots are in the market for a new defensive coordinator after Matt Patricia, who had been with the team since 2004, was hired as head coach of the Detroit Lions.
