Jimmy Kimmel Tells Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement Eagles 'Traded' Nick Foles

On Monday evening, Jimmy Kimmel tricked Philadelphia Eagles running backs and newly minted champions Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement into believing the franchise had traded the Super Bowl LII MVP.

Kimmel hosted both men on his program a day after the Eagles' thrilling 41-33 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night. Ajayi, who was traded by the Miami Dolphins to the Eagles on Oct. 31, was finishing remarks about his early days with Philadelphia when the Jimmy Kimmel Live host dropped a bombshell about quarterback Nick Foles.

"Now, did you hear that Foles was traded about an hour ago?" Kimmel asked the unsuspecting players, who appeared shocked for a few seconds before the jokester confessed.

"I made that up," he said, eliciting laughter from the audience and the two backs.
