Dirk Nowitzki's Name Spelled Wrong on Jersey vs. Clippers

Whoever finished the lettering on the Dallas Mavericks' jerseys for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center has some explaining to do.

During the contest, Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki added another achievement to his impressive resume when he became the sixth player in NBA history to log 50,000 career minutes:

Unfortunately, the 39-year-old's jersey had "Nowitkzi" on the back for his big moment, due to an error that occurred sometime before tipoff.

We're sure the Hall of Fame will do right by Nowitzki when that day comes.
