NFL Mock Draft 2018: Latest 1st-Round Predictions for Marquee Prospects
Look for quarterbacks to be selected with the first two picks of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Josh Rosen of UCLA and Sam Darnold of USC appear to be the signal callers who could lead the way in the April draft. However, don''t sleep on Josh Allen of Wyoming.
Many of the early mock drafts have Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield as a top-eight pick, but we believe he won't be selected until the latter half of the first round.
In addition to Rosen, Darnold and Allen, we also take a look at Penn State running back Saquon Barkley.

*The order of the ninth and 10th picks between the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders will be determined by a coin flip.
QB Josh Rosen, UCLA
2017 stats: Rosen completed 283 of 452 passes for 3,756 yards, with 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Two rushing touchdowns.
Rosen is a smooth quarterback who looks the part at 6'4" and 218 pounds. He is comfortable in the pocket and can slide when he is facing pressure. He can fire the long pass with a flick of his wrist and can put touch on his short- and medium-range passes.
Rosen has also been productive throughout his career, and while he may need some time to get going and learn his team's system, he may be going at full speed after just four or five regular-season games. Once he reaches a certain comfort level, he should be quite productive.

QB Sam Darnold, USC
2017 stats: Darnold completed 303 of 480 passes for 4,143 yards, with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Five rushing touchdowns and seven lost fumbles.
The 6'4", 225-pound Darnold is one of the most gifted passers to enter the NFL draft in the last few years, and he may have a brilliant future at the next level. However, if he is going to get to that level, he is going to have to improve his footwork quite a bit.
Any team that drafts Darnold has to be concerned about ball security, but he has the arm strength, quick release and intelligence to become a star. If he puts in the work to clean up a few problem areas, he has the kind of tools that should allow him to play consistently.
QB Josh Allen, Wyoming
2017 stats: Allen completed 152 of 270 passes for 1,812 yards, with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions. Five rushing touchdowns and two lost fumbles.
There is some thought that the 6'5", 233-pound Allen could turn out to be the No. 1 pick in the draft because of his tremendous size and arm strength. There are some worries because his numbers were not great in 2017, but much of that was due to a team that did not have the talent of the 2016 Cowboys.
Allen sees the field extremely well and has a good sense of how the defense wants to come after him. He has the intelligence to know how to get the best of those scenarios.
He may not be the quarterback who can step in and lead his team right from the start, but once he refines his game a bit, he should be ready to contribute.
RB Saquon Barkley, Penn State
2017 stats: Barkley rushed for 1,271 yards, averaged 5.9 yards per carry and had 18 rushing touchdowns. He caught 54 passes for 632 yards and three touchdowns.
Barkley may be as good as Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys, because he is stellar runner who is not going down after first contact and is also a first-rate pass receiver. Barkley has the quick feet and moves to make tacklers miss, and he is a driven player who will do anything he can to win the battle.
His teammates at Penn State loved him, and he has natural leadership ability.
