Pandemonium struck the streets of Philadelphia after the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots to secure their first Super Bowl title in franchise history. Following Sunday night's triumph, police officers faced a task tougher than defending Tom Brady.

The long-awaited win sparked a mass celebration on the streets of Philadelphia. One on-duty officer even joined the fun, shouting and high-fiving civilians in the streets.

But officers could not enjoy a peaceful party all night, as other fans used a sporting outcome as an excuse to act irresponsibly.
