NFL Forgot to Paint Hash Marks over Super Bowl Logos

You had one job, people responsible for painting the U.S. Bank Stadium field ahead of the Super Bowl LII showdown between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.

Per several reporters at the stadium, the crew forgot to add hash marks over multiple logos.

As Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald explained, the necessary hash marks were omitted from the logos that stretch from the 20- to 30-yard lines on both ends of the field and from the one at midfield.

This could've presented serious issues during the game, particularly as it relates to spotting the ball accurately.

Fortunately, crews went to work to rectify the situation roughly two-and-a-half hours ahead of kickoff:

It's important to double-check your work.
