Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Emre Can and Christian Pulisic
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is reportedly close to agreeing a pre-contract with Juventus that would see him move to Italy on a free transfer at the end of the season.
According to Corriere dello Sport (h/t Tom Coast of Sport Witness), following months of speculation, the Germany international has said "yes" to a move to the Serie A champions.
The Italian outlet suggested the next step in this deal will be for Juventus to confirm it's official. The Bianconeri are said to have beaten competition from Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for the former Bayer Leverkusen man.

Can's contract at Liverpool is poised to run out at the end of the season, with little progress seemingly made over an extension.
The 24-year-old has been a regular in Jurgen Klopp's side this term, and as noted by Jack Lusby, he's been one of the most dependable sources of goals:
As often the deepest man in midfield for the Reds, other areas of his game have come in for scrutiny, though. Can sometimes clings to possession, slows down Liverpool's brisk attacking football and can lose focus defensively to the detriment of his side.
Even so, in the right setup, there are many positive attributes to be tapped into in Can's game, as evidenced by the number of clubs said to be interested in him.
Indeed, Keith Costigan believes the midfielder's lack of discipline is in line with him following instructions from his manager:
Juventus have a number of options in the middle of the park, although Claudio Marchisio, Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedira are all aged 30 or older. Planning for the future with someone like Can is smart business, especially if they are able to get the Liverpool man through the door for nothing in the summer.
Christian Pulisic Competition

According to Mundo Deportivo (h/t the Daily Mirror), Liverpool will face stiff competition to sign Christian Pulisic in the summer, with Bayern Munich and Manchester United said to be interested in him, too.
The Mirror report said Borussia Dortmund are aware the United States international is now their biggest star following the sales of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele.
The Reds have long been linked with Pulisic, although it's not a shock to see other massive names in the frame considering his talent.
Although Dortmund would be keen to keep the 19-year-old around for a while yet, the Bundesliga side have set a precedent for letting star men depart for the right price in recent years, as noted by football writer Stefan Buczko:
Pulisic is tied down at the Westfalenstadion until 2020, and as such, Dortmund won't feel under any pressure to sell yet—especially having recouped so much from the sales of Dembele and Aubameyang. Supporters would be hopeful that's enough to ensure Pulisic stays until 2019 at least.
Links to the likes of Liverpool are no surprise, as Pulisic is on course to become one of the most effective attacking midfielders in the game should he continue developing at his current rate. Bayern and United being involved in any transfer tussle would complicate things massively for the Reds, though.
