Super Bowl Odds 2018: Prop Bets List for National Anthem, Eagles vs. Patriots

The Philadelphia Eagles will be attempting to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history when they take on the New England Patriots Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The Eagles might take the field after hearing a cheer on their behalf from the national anthem singer.

Why would Pink, who will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" prior to the 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff, say a few words in support of the NFC champions instead of the defending Super Bowl champions and AFC representatives? Because Pink is a Pennsylvania native who grew up in Doylestown, which is about an hour north of Philadelphia.

Pink should get the festivities off to a rousing start with her powerful voice. Those who are inclined to make prop bets on the Super Bowl will have plenty of options when it comes to the national anthem. 

One of those bets is how long it will take Pink to sing the anthem. The time in question is two minutes, and those who believe the singer will take longer than that that can risk $140 to win $100, according to Stephen Campbell of OddsShark. If bettors believe the three-time Grammy Award winner will get through the song at a faster pace, they can take the under at even odds.

The website reported that the average length of the past 12 Super Bowl national anthems was 1 minute, 58.6 seconds.

Pink is also known for changing her hair color, and fans can also place wagers on that aspect of her appearance. If she comes out with pink or red hair, fans who make a $100 wager on that combination would win $150. White or blonde hair will bring a $175 payoff. Brown or black would result in a $400 profit. Blue or purple would bring a $500 profit, and so would green hair.

Another betting option is on the singer forgetting, omitting or changing a word as she sings the anthem. Many singers have had issues with the song over the years, and Pink may not be immune from errors. Those who believe she will not sing the lyrics perfectly can make a wager at plus-300, while those who have confidence she will sing all the words correctly must risk $500 to win $100.

While it doesn't seem likely Pink will be anywhere but on stage during the anthem, bettors can wager on whether she will be airborne at some point during her performance. That option is available at plus-150, while those who believe her feet will be planted throughout can make that wager at minus-200.

Finally, there are a couple of bets fans can make about whether Pink shows her roots and gives some kind of support for the NFC champions. For those betting Pink will say "Eagles" at one point or another, a risk of $100 would win $110. Those who believe she won't can bet $150 to win $100.

The other way Pink can show her loyalty to her home team is by wearing a hat or shirt with the team's name on it. If she does, a $100 bet would return $200. Those who believe she won't wear any Eagles-related clothing must risk $500 to win $100.
