Super Bowl 2018 Live Stream: Mobile Coverage, Features for Eagles vs. Patriots

Richard JanvrinFeb 4, 2018

For those of you planning to watch Super Bowl LII, featuring the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles, you probably have quite the plan laid out already. Maybe it's hosting a party with numerous guests, maybe you're going to someone else's house, perhaps a local sports bar?

One thing all of those options will have is a (likely) huge television set that you and whoever else you're with can huddle around and take in the action.

Unfortunately, though, there will be some who won't have this luxury—maybe they have to work, or they're traveling.

Vikings Interested in Eagles QB Coach DeFilippo for OC Position

While this tidbit may not be directly correlated to the Super Bowl itself, remember, there is life after the big game.

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur has taken the New York Giants' vacant head coaching spot, and now the Vikings need to replace him.

According to Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Eagles quarterback coach John DeFilippo could be their guy.

DeFilippo, 39, has served as a professional offensive coordinator for just one season, 2015, with the Cleveland Browns, but he has a coaching career that dates all the way back to the turn of the century.

Working closely with Carson Wentz, DeFilippo could bring not only that dynamic to the Vikings offense, but also a wealth of experience.

The first thing the Vikings will want to figure out if DeFilippo comes in is who the quarterback will be for next season.

As an incumbent quarterbacks coach, it would be safe to assume DeFilippo would have a hand in that.

We'll know more about this after the Super Bowl when the Vikings are allowed to interview him for the opening.
