'Jeopardy!' Contestants Fail to Answer a Single Football Question Correctly

Last September, a trio of Jeopardy! contestants failed spectacularly when presented with football questions. 

It happened again during the episode that aired Thursday evening. 

This time, the players appeared to have never watched or even heard of the sport before participating in the trivia show. 

They looked lost listening to a description of an option play, and nobody knew what team former Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry guided during his legendary career. 

Things became so awkward, host Alex Trebek suggested they go to commercial early to spare the contestants further embarrassment. 

Mention this dubious moment of Jeopardy! history the next time anybody gives you a hard time about watching sports.
