Pistons Fans Welcome Blake Griffin Ahead of Thursday's Game vs. Grizzlies

Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin debuted for his new club during Thursday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies at Little Caesars Arena. 

Fans welcomed the 28-year-old ahead of tipoff as he received a loud ovation from those among the Detroit faithful.

He didn't wait long to make an impact on the contest: 

Detroit began the day 1.5 games out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference standings, and the Pistons will look for Griffin to help propel the team into the postseason come springtime.
